Steven C. Bunting knew he wanted to be a dentist at an early age. His mother was the manager of a dental practice, and Steven grew up appreciating the rigorous, intricate work of a dentist.
A Virginia native, Dr. Bunting graduated from Hampden-Sydney College in 1983. His inspiration and commitment to become an outstanding dentist motivated him to complete a four-year college curriculum in just three years. He went on to graduate from the Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry in 1986. During that time, he was awarded the A.D. Williams Fellowship Award for Research. He completed General Practice Residency at the University of Florida College of Dentistry as well as the VA Medical Center in Gainesville, Florida. As further evidence of Dr. Bunting’s dedication to excellence, he passed three Dental Boards: Southern Regional Testing Agency (SRTA), recognized by 26 states; North East Regional Board of Dental Examiners (NERB); and the Florida Dental Licensure Exam. Most dentists take only one Board exam.
Since then, the cornerstone of Dr. Bunting’s dental practice is 35 years experience with innumerable happy, trusting, and deeply valued patients. He is gifted with the ability to mesh both science and artistry to create beautiful, natural smiles for his patients.
